Set sail from Colonia de Sant Jordi

Colonia de Sant Jordi is the gateway to Mallorca's most authentic south. Far from the northern hustle, this fishing port maintains the unhurried rhythm of those who make their living from the sea. From here you have direct access to Es Trenc, the island's most iconic virgin beach, the Cabrera National Park, and a string of wild coves that only reveal themselves properly from the water. Renting a boat in Colonia de Sant Jordi means sailing at your own pace, anchoring wherever you fancy, and discovering the Mallorca that doesn't appear in tourist guides.

Everything included in every trip

Every rental includes a professional local skipper who knows the best anchorages, the currents and where the wind blows less. Fuel, insurance, cleaning and the personalized route are on us. Most boats come with a cooler stocked with drinks, snorkeling gear and everything needed to spend the day on the water. You set the pace: whether you prefer sailing to Cabrera, anchoring at Es Carbó or simply floating off Es Trenc, we adapt.

Favorite routes from Colonia de Sant Jordi

  • Es Trenc from the sea: Mallorca's most famous virgin beach. Seeing it from the boat, without umbrellas or beach bars, is a different story altogether. Crystal-clear waters and white sand stretching for kilometers.
  • Cabrera: Maritime-Terrestrial National Park, uninhabited island with pirate history and protected waters. Prior permit required, but worth every bit of paperwork. Crystalline depths and world-class snorkeling.
  • Cala en Tugores and Es Carbó: Wild fine-sand coves, accessible only by sea or on foot. Turquoise water, few people, plenty of peace.
  • Es Dolç and Ses Roquetes: More intimate corners, perfect for anchoring, swimming and losing track of time. Ideal for those seeking to truly disconnect.

Types of boats available

From nimble motorboats and RIBs to explore several coves in a day, traditional Mallorcan llaüts with the island's authentic charm, stable and spacious catamarans for groups or families, to sailboats and yachts for those who want to make sailing a complete experience. If you're not sure which boat to choose, we'll help you find the one that best fits your plan.

When to book?

Summer (June to September) is high season: calm seas, guaranteed sunshine and coves at their best. But spring and autumn offer mild temperatures, fewer people on the water and better prices. Colonia de Sant Jordi works nearly year-round thanks to its natural protection. Book in advance for July and August; the rest of the year there's more flexibility. Weekends always fill up first.
