Set Sail from Murcia's Coast

The Murcian coast is a land of contrasts. On one side, the Mar Menor, Europe's largest saltwater lagoon, with calm, warm waters perfect for families. On the other, the open Mediterranean, with Cabo de Palos, the Islas Hormigas and a coastline that alternates hidden coves, cliffs and volcanic beaches all the way to Águilas. Renting a boat in Murcia means exploring two different seas, anchoring wherever you fancy and discovering a coast that still preserves its Mediterranean essence, far from mass tourism.

Everything Included on Every Trip

Every rental includes a professional local skipper who knows the best anchorages, currents and where to find the quietest coves. Fuel, insurance, cleaning and a personalized route are on us. Most boats come with a cooler stocked with drinks, snorkel gear and everything needed for a day on the water. You set the pace: whether you want to explore the Mar Menor, circle Cabo de Palos or discover Mazarrón's coves, we adapt.

Favorite Routes from Murcia

  • Mar Menor: The great saltwater lagoon, with shallow, calm waters. Perfect for families, paddle surfing and peaceful anchorages. A unique nautical experience in the Mediterranean.
  • Cabo de Palos and Islas Hormigas: Marine reserve with spectacular seabeds, historic wrecks and protected biodiversity. Snorkeling here is next-level. The Cabo de Palos lighthouse marks one of the coast's most iconic spots.
  • Cala Cortina and Calnegre: Sandy and rocky coves with crystal-clear waters, less crowded than other Mediterranean areas. Perfect for anchoring and disconnecting.
  • Mazarrón Bay and Águilas: Volcanic coast with cliffs, virgin coves and charming fishing villages. Territory for peaceful sailing and authentic landscapes.

Available Boat Types

From agile motorboats and RIBs to explore multiple coves in a day, traditional boats for calm sailing on the Mar Menor, stable and spacious catamarans for groups or families, to sailboats and yachts for those who want to make sailing a complete experience. If you're unsure which boat to choose, we'll help you find the one that best fits your plan.

When to Book?

Summer (June to September) is high season: calm seas, guaranteed sunshine and coves at their best. But spring and autumn offer mild temperatures, fewer people on the water and better prices. The Mar Menor, given its lagoon nature, allows comfortable sailing almost year-round. Book ahead for July and August; the rest of the year there's more flexibility. Weekends always book up first.
