Sail Sardinia

The east coast of Sardinia is one of those places where Italy feels almost unreal. Orosei Gulf and the Emerald Coast up north aren't just pretty names: they're paradises of crystal-clear water, jaw-dropping cliffs, and hidden coves that are best reached by sea. Here's the deal: pick your boat, grab a local skipper who knows every inch of these waters, and sail at your own pace toward some seriously gorgeous Mediterranean spots.

Everything included in every trip

Every rental comes with a professional local skipper, fuel, insurance, cleaning, and a route tailored to what you're after. Most boats have snorkel gear and a cooler stocked with drinks on board. You set the pace and pick the stops.

Favorite routes from Sardinia

  • Cala Goloritzé: The crown jewel of Orosei Gulf. 150-meter cliffs, white sand, and a stone needle rising straight out of the sea. Perfect for diving and those Instagram moments.
  • Cala Mariolu: Right next to Goloritzé, with quartz pebbles that sparkle underwater. Snorkeling here is mind-blowing.
  • Cala Luna: Hidden beach with caves tucked into the cliffs. Great if you want peace and quiet plus a little exploring beyond the water.
  • Emerald Coast: The most famous spot, with genuinely turquoise water. Porto Cervo is the hub: a marina with vibe, shops, and solid food scene.

Boat types available

From fast speedboats and RIBs to cover ground quick, traditional wooden boats, catamarans for groups, to yachts and sailing boats for a full day out. Not sure which boat fits? We'll point you in the right direction.

When should you book?

The Emerald Coast and Orosei Gulf work year-round, but July and August fill up fast. Want peace and quiet with still-warm water? May through June and September through October are golden. Winter's for the adventurous, but with a local skipper and good weather, it works too.
